Abstract: | Jesus declares himself to be something very essential in the life of human beings. LIGHT We are aware that words in John have a symbolic character. For instance: Light implies the presence of Revelation and Salvation while Darkness is the opposite. World means the people and Life is to be understood as eternal rather than simply natural.
