Abstract: Victor was born on July 28, 1931, in Senglea, Malta. He entered the Society on October 25, 1948, in Naxxar, Malta. After his juniorate in Malta, in 1952 Victor moved to Heythrop College, U.K., to pursue his licentiate in Philosophy. He came back to Naxxar for his regency at St. Aloysius College and at the Jesuit Juniorate between 1955 and 1957. Then, he was assigned to pursue an MA in Zoology at Oxford, U.K., which he did from 1957 to 1961. After this, Victor moved to Woodstock, USA, to pursue his licentiate in Theology between 1961 and 1965, and then to London University, U.K., for his PhD in Zoology from 1967-1971.
