Spiritual Exercises
The Spiritual Exercises are a compilation of meditations, prayers, and contemplative practices developed by St. Ignatius Loyola to help people deepen their relationship with God.
This project aims at collecting, organizing, preserving, and sharing those resources, some of which have already been published in forms of booklets, books or articles while others remain in individual possessions. Additionally, as part of its mission to promote Jesuit studies, the Jesuit Historical Institute in Africa collects and preserves all books, book chapters, book reviews, articles, newspapers articles on the Society of Jesus in Africa. Likewise, it aims at creating a comprehensive bibliography on the Society in Africa, and a searchable list of books and articles published by African Jesuits on different fields of research, especially those related to Jesuit history, spirituality, and pedagogy.
