Abstract: A little warning about the latest state of affairs with regard to getting into South Africa. Recent experience has shown that citizens of neighbouring African states who arrive by bus or train are automatically suspected of being potential illegal immigrants. The fact that they hold a tourist visa and return ticket does not seem to make any difference. They are expected to show that they have assets in excess of $1 000 US or they either get a hard time or might even be refused entry.....
