Abstract: | The three hoped-for new recruits for the Sudan mission have now come. Fr. PAUL MALLIA arrived from Uganda on August 16 and has been teaching Old and New Testament in the Theologate since then. On November 7 Fr. HANS PUTMAN arrived from Egypt to stay, and he is based at St. Augustine Minor Seminary while doing various ministries around Khartoum. He accompanied his mother on her first visit to Khartoum before she returned home to Holland. Fr. RICHARD D'SOUZA is to return from Dodoma in December and start his definite assignment after an earlier discernment exploratory period in Khartoum. He will be based at the Orientation Year Seminary at Shambat, also within the Capital.... |
