dc.description.abstractOn 26th September, 2009 while in my room doing my assignments, one of our companions called to inform me that a shopping mall had been submerged in water. We both hurriedly went to the place to assess the situation and to see what we could do as the heavy downpour continued. Unfortunately, the only thing we could do at that moment was to take some pictures of the flash flood swallowing people, houses, shops, cars, pets, and garbage. It was only after two days, when the water had receded, that my Jesuit community joined other volunteers in cleaning up, distributing food and other life saving items...en_US
