Abstract: | Jesuit Hakimani Centre facilitated a two-day workshop at Kariobangi Women Promotion Training Institute (KWPTI) on 8th to 9th July 2010. Kariobangi is a densely populated suburb on the eastern side of Nairobi city. It was one of the hardest hit estates during the post poll mayhem that erupted on 30 December 2007 and ended in February 2008 with the signing of the National Accord between the Party of National Unity of President Mwai Kibaki and Orange Democratic Movement of Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
