Rafiki is a Kiswahili word which is literally translated as a friend but in Jesuit circles it is referred to as a companion. As Jesuits we are companions of Jesus as we partake in the mission of Christ under the banner of his cross. Journals such as Rafiki marshals us to experience true companion-ship through which we are intimately united in minds and hearts when we share our consolations and desolations in quenching our thirst for God’s love. I, thus, suppliant-ly invite you all to enjoy the Rafiki issue published for the month of August which will indubitably enrich you with vast of spiritual experiences of the Primi which ranges from creative writing to poet-ry....en_US
