Abstract: Christmas is possibly the most celebrated holiday for both the Christians and those that are not. As soon as people are through celebrating the New Year, Christmas becomes the focus. Travel plans for this particular holiday are put in place way in advance along with the plans for that holiday that are to coincide. Why is that so? Christmas is simply a family holiday; a quality time. People travel across the world, the urban travel to the rural and the reverse is true, only on a lesser extent. Families find it necessary and important to be together on this particular holiday. While Christmas is strongly a Christian holiday, the majority of the world's population find it necessary to mention it, and plan around it.
