Abstract: "Innovation" is one of the buzzwords these days being invoked as the engine of social and economic transformation. The youth of Matero Catholic Parish in Lusaka, Zambia, decided to harness their fresh brains and energies to venture into the challenging task of inventing practical solutions to problems affecting local communities, especially the poor.....
Description: These young people have learned a "new tongue" and have developed their own vocabulary for analysing problems and designing solutions. They speak of "discomfort zones" to refer to difficulties facing communities, for instance.
