Abstract: These were the questions on the program of the seventh Congress of the World Union of Jesuit Alumni(ae) which took place in Bujumbura (Burundi) from July 22-27, 2009. Two hundred twelve participants from 30 nations came together for this event, the first in the history of the World Union to take place in Africa. One hundred twenty of the participants were Africans. (See details of the makeup of the assembly in the box below.
Description: One and a half years ago, the seventh Congress of the World Union Jesuit Alumni(ae) took place in the heart of Africa: an historic moment, that now must be put into practice.
