dc.description.abstract	Summary; 1. He asks for the brief of the confirmation of the Society and for the "Spiritual Exercises" so that he may show them to the king. The Portuguese ambassador is eager to receive letters from members of the Society. 2. The priests are giving the Exercises to prominent individuals and are preparing others to give them. 3. He suggests that Francisco de Estrada might study in Coimbra. Prospects for founding a college there and for other houses in Portugal. 4. The voyage of the priests to India is uncertain. 5.
