Abstract: Summary: 1. He recalls his earlier letters. The present letter is longer, in keeping with his promises. 2. Ministries on the high seas. 3-4. Mozambique: care of the Sick, confessions, preaching. His companions remained there while he and the governor sailed for India. 5. Christian Goa. 6-8. His stay on the island of Melinde. Conversations with the Muslims. 9-11. The island of Socotra and its native Christians. He wished to remain there, but the governor was opposed to this. Native priests, their rites and fasts. 12-13. The wreck of the flagship. Ministries in Goa. 14. He will soon go to Cape Comorin and will be followed there by his companions. 15. Much work on the missions, but no lack of heavenly consolations. He earnestly asks for letters and instructions. He recognizes his own defects. Conclusion.
