Bill Cain and the other companions would often tease me that I was going to do theology of design. Being a graduate student of Communications Design at the time, the companions helped me to wonder what it might be like to approach theology from a design perspective. My design thesis, titled “Cognition as a Creative Tool”, attempted to demonstrate that every human being is a designer. In it, I was expressing my belief that every human being has the creative power of God within him/her.
